At "Shinju-no-Sato," we experienced the thrill of harvesting our own pearls — a moment of pure excitement as each oyster reveals its unique treasure. At "Mikimoto Pearl Island," we witnessed the Ama (female divers) performance, a powerful and moving tribute to the region's cultural history.
Breathtaking Vistas of Shima
One of the most memorable moments was the sunset viewed from the rooftop of Shima Kanko Hotel. The ethereal colors of the sky and sea are a testament to the world-class natural beauty this region offers. The view from Yokoyama observatory offered a stunning panorama of the iconic Ago Bay. The intricate beauty of the rias coastline under the clear sky was simply breathtaking.
